Rock River NM trigger ?

I have bought two. Both work fine and give a plenty good trigger pull.

For the price, they are a great improvement and a good value.I like the two stage. Its a good, safe trigger with plenty of sear engagement. The small increase in the second stage seems like a light pull and it is crisp.

You can get a better pull by spending quite a bit more, for example a Gisselle or Jewell, but the Rock River will give you a very satisfactory trigger for a good price. If you miss,it won't be the trigger that is the problem.

Rock River NM trigger

"How many of you guys have one in your AR and what is your opinion on it ?"

The RRA trigger is GREAT!

You can't buy a better AR trigger for the money.

Actually when it comes to AR triggers there are only 2 brands I would even consider, the RRA and the Geisselle.

ALL of my AR-15 and LAR-8 (AR-10 "type") rifles and those "building either came with the RRA trigger or were upgraded to the RRA trigger by me.

The ArmaLite two stage is far superior to the RRA two stage. Not only is it adjustable, it has a larger contact area on the disconnector. Disco wear is the RRA weak point.

I bought my first RRA about six years ago, a year later I bought a rifle with the ArmaLite installed. I have used nothing but the ArmaLite two stage LPK for builds since then.

Buy the lower cost "tactical two stage", after about 500 rds you can tune it to NM specs with zero creep and a glass break.

Another plus is it is adjustable with a simple spring position change. Set to 4.5lbs for service rifle match rules and with just a position change can be a 3lb precision trigger.

I have a Rock River two-stage National Match trigger. No problems with it (so far, after more than a few rounds) and I'd get another in a heart beat. A great trigger irrespective of price imo.

I thought about going another route by honing my trigger and installing the yellow springs and a set screw to take up the creep, but some how I just feel it is not a good idea especially from a safety stand point. Kind of like jury rigging it.
What is your thoughts ?

Love mine. Had it on for a year or so, then shot a friend's AR. I thought something was wrong with it. Heavy, gritty feeling. Turned out it was just a stock GI trigger :p
