Rock River, Kimber, and a Ciener .22 kit?

I have a Rock River Commander and a Kimber Classic and I am thinking of purchasing a Ciener .22 kit. I think I should get the commander length so that I can use it on both pieces. I think that it should be ok on the Kimber, but since the RRA is built on a 9mm slide (but is a .45), will the conversion still work?

No reason it shouldn't work, greg - - -

The conversion unit has its own complete slide assembly.

A Ciener Platinum Cup kit works very well on my son's Kimber Classic--Accurate and reliable, with the proper ammo.

Best,
Johnny

My Ciener .22 conversion works on both my full sized Kimbers, but not my Colt Commander. The Commander has a different ejector.
I'd say the best thing to do would be to call Ciener direct and ask them.
www.22lrconversions.com is their website
Their phone nuber is 321 868 2200, for the order desk.

Thanks for the replies- I am concerned because the ejector is cut a bit funny on the RR frame to fit the 9mm slide. I suppose the best thing to do would be to find a place selling these and "try them on," so to speak.
