Anybody every remove that old style logo on the slide?
If so how?

I don't know but I'm glad mine has the new logo that is much more discrete. The original one looked ridiculous.

PatientWolf thanks for the link, may be worth a try or just have the slide cerakoted or something similar.

I was going to sell this but I think I may as well keep it.

I'd Kote mine but I like the black colour. You should do FDE or yote brown.

Saw this RIA 1911 CS he had the slide buffed to remove finish and logo.

I thought the new logo to be acceptable. Armscor should be proud of their 1911's, they are a lot of gun for the few dollars they cost.

I agree the new is fine, mine is the old banner style just cost me a sale, gun has been a safe queen but I've decided to keep it shoot it and make it a motorhome gun.
