Rock Island 10mm?

Hi 98 220
I have a Rock Island 1911 in 10MM it's a great gun but if you are going to shoot the hot stuff make sure you replace the recoil spring with a stiffer one than it came with or it will batter the frame. As far as how it handles the hot loads the answer is very well once you replace the recoil spring. Shot a couple of boxes of Buffalo bore thru it with no problem.

How does the brass ejection on it work out for you? Do you find yourself looking for brass in the next county?

Just curious how it differs from the factory spring to the new spring. Thanks

:D:Dyup--my glock 20 with 20# spring throws the full-power cases far--the other day I was surprised to find a duck downed with an ejected case. lol

I have a tanfoglio 10mm that I need to replace the spring on. It ejects that brass a minimum on 75 feet. It makes finding them about impossible.

My glock 20 launches them more or less straight up into the air, so where they land probably has more to do with wind drift upon re-entry from the stratosphere. :) Even so, most cases usually end up in a 3 to 4 ft diameter patch within 10 ft, really no worse than retrieving spent cases from an AR.
