I will be going through Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho and into Washington to see my grandma. I dont really want to have my S & W in the trunk. I dont plan on getting pulled over, but you just never know. I cant decide which one I should be more afraid of, getting in trouble for having a gun for protection or someone trying to harm me. (I will keep it out of sight, but the glove box seems like a long way away if someone is trying to get in) It should be a no brainer, but it isnt.

what to you think? OH, I am female and my dog is a poodle. :)
 
I have kept a gun in the glovebox for about thirty years
It's really not that far away if you pay attention

There is no reason to keep it in the box if you think you may need it

Here's a trick I have used in the past

Gun on passenger seat papers in glovebox
Get pulled over, calmly but quickly get your papers out of the GB while putting your gun in

Not to be a grammar ass but it's " just my dog and me"
