RKBA In Danger This Election

We must all pull our votes together to ensure Bush gets elected. If we split our votes and vote for other candidates and Gore gets elected, we lose our RKBA. Our RKBA are in jeopardy and at stake. That is our priority right now. We are guaranteed to lose our rights with Gore and the judges he appoints.

All other issues are not in jeopardy or a priority right now. Maybe next election we'll have the luxury to pursue them. But on this election, we must get our priorities in order. We seem to have some people here who want to make it appear otherwise.

Bush is a much stronger supporter of our RKBA. We must do everything we can to get him elected. Encourage your friends and family to vote. If you have any doubt check out their positions and records:

As I see it, we have two likely choices.

Bush: In favor of "reasonable, common-sense" restrictions; like banning full capacity magazine importation, banning adults between the ages of 18 and 20 from posessing a handgun, expanding NICS to cover all transactions at gun shows, and requiring trigger locks to be sold with all new handguns. Source.

Gore: In favor of "protecting the rights of law-abiding gun owners," by banning assault weapons, banning adults between the ages of 18 and 20 from posessing a handgun or a semi-automatic rifle, expanding NICS to cover all transactions at gun shows, banning "junk guns specifically made and sold for crime," reversing efforts to provide special protection for gun manufactures,(sic) and fighting against efforts to loosen existing limits on concealed weapons.

Also, Gore would fund over 1,000 federal, state and local gun prosecutors and 500 new ATF firearms agents and inspectors, require gun manufacturers and federally-licensed sellers to report gun sales to a state authority, support the development of "supertracing" technology, and ban concealed weapons in houses of worship.

In addition, Gore would seek a nationally mandated, state-run system of photo licensing for all potential handgun purchasers - requiring them to pass a background check and a safety test, impose a one-gun-a-month limit and a three-day waiting period for gun purchases, and oppose efforts to provide special legal protections for gun manufacturers. Source.

Bush's proposals show me that he is no proponent of the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. He believes in restricting the Right.
Gore's proposals show me that his is no proponent of the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. he believes in restricting the Right. Just much, much more than Bush.

Bush is clearly the lesser of the two evils as far as the RKBA goes. I will hold my nose and vote for him. The rest of my ticket goes to Libertarians and other pro-RKBA candidates.

So, either way, I lose my .45, huh? I'm 19. I bought it legally. I can die with a gun in my hands serving in the Nat'l Guard, but I can't protect my home with one. Cute. Real cute.

Bush get in and appoints SC judges and the Emerson ruling falls in our favor based upon 2nd Amendment and 10th Amendment grounds and you would not have to give up anything to the federal gov't.
