Riverman Gun Works MBR

My oldest grandson's job moves him all around the country, now he's in Idaho.
Of course "Shooter" being around me too much is crazy about shooting and guns, so where ever he's at he visits all the local gun shops.

He visited the Riverman Gun Works shop and the owner was showing him the MBR (Modular Breakdown Rifle), which looks to be a pretty unique rifle.

"Shooter" was offered the chance to shoot a MBR in 308 caliber along with a few other guns, one being a 338 Lapua custom bolt action rifle.
He shot the 308 MBR at 500 yards and the 338 Lapua at 1178 and 1500 yards.

Needless to say he was impressed with both guns and the hits he made at the longer ranges.
"Shooter" is truly having the time of his life, I wish I was there with him.

High-dollar, accuracy/target ARs are very common, it is an easy platform to get good accuracy from. JP Enterprises, Les Baer, many, many manufacturers specialize in the top end ARs. They are neat, not necessarily my cup of tea so to speak, but the accuracy is impressive. A customer of mine shoots a Les Baer and holds 1/4 MOA at 400 yds.

Scorch, I agree about the high dollar AR guns being accurate, I've shot many.
The most accurate AR guns I've shot were two JP guns.

What I found interesting about the MBR was being able to quickly change calibers without the use of any tools, it looks like a pretty neat set-up to me, plus it's a bolt action and not a gas operated gun.

I would like to see a 22-250 offered in the model 10 but the 243 would work well for me also, I'm thinking 22-24 inch barrel coyote shooter.
