Violent crime in California rose 10% in 2015, state attorney general says

How many of you have been a victim of crime in the last year in California? All of my neighbors are being robbed, one 3 times just this year. Anybody have a site with the county statistics for property crime and violent crime. The moderator wants "proof" we have a crime epidemic in California. rc

An accepted way to present and compare crime statistics is the FBI Uniform Crime statistics.
One problem though is ther is no penalty for a city (like Chicago) to reclassify crime parameters so their rate appears lower (which they admitted they’ve done for years).

And it’s not likely to get better in the next several years, as many upper and upper middle class families will likely leave CA to avoid increasing crime and taxes.
Good luck.

July 1, 2016 was some 18 months ago, and 2015 ended 24 months ago. No reason to discuss old news.

In addition the OP provides no link or source so that we can verify his claims.

And crime rates aren't necessarily on topic here.
