Rimless Lever Rifles

They make lever rifles in .35 Remington, which, as near as I can tell, doesn't have a rim like .30-30 does.

That said, why don't they make a levergun in, say, 10mm, .45ACP, etc.? They'd probably sell as well as lever carbines in .357 Magnum and .45 Colt.

Lever guns in 45 colt, 44magnum and .357 magnum are mostly sold to cowboy action shooters. 10mm and 45acp are not acceptable for cas and therefore much less in damand. I'm sure shooters buy them for other reasons but there are somewhere around 40,000 members in the Single Action Shooting Society and probably more than that shooting in matches. Every one of those people have to have a lever action rifle chambered for a pistol cartridge. That is unless they have an appropriate pump action rifle and they are somewhat hard to get.

I've been wondering this myself for a long time. If someone made a lever gun in 40S&W, I'd be one of the first in line.
