Rifling video

It isn't. Do you think he could hammer that punch through a 24" rifle barrel, or even a 7 1/2 inch revolver barrel?
I guess you could say it is conceptually equivalent to industrial button rifling, but mostly just a showoff. There was a similar video once about DIY making a forge welded damascus barrel. It was about 4" long, too.

Just a mildly humorous postscript: The first time somebody told me about hammer forging a barrel I thought they were kidding me and I didn't believe it could work.
