Know a lady who's husband died. He left a few rifles & shotguns. I don't know squat about rifle values and don't have any idea of the worth of some of these, be they valuable or junk. Any help you can give on estimating the worth of these rifles would help the widow so she can sell them at a fair value this week. Ballpark figures would be great, this is all the info I have. Here you go:

Glenfield Model 60 - 22 cal
J.C. Higgens Model 103.13 - 22 cal
Stevens Model 325A - 30-30 cal
Rem Model 788 - 243 cal w/ 4 power Bushnell scope
Rem Model 760 30-30 cal w/ 3-8 power Bushnell Banner scope
Mauser 300 Winchester mag - w/ 3-9 power Redfield scope
Winchester Model 12 - 16 guage
Winchester Model 140 - 12 gauge

And one handgun - Ruger New Model Blackhawk - 357 magnum with 9mm interchange??? - what the heck is that? All help is appreciated. Thanks.

The guns worth the most would likely be the Ruger Blackhawk convertible, the Winchester Model 12 and possibly the Mauser. Regional variations in pricing would make even a ballpark figure rather vague.
The .22s may fetch anywhere from $50 - $100 apiece.
The Remingtons would probably go around $250 -$350.
Not sure about that model of Stevens, never heard of that one but other Stevens leverguns in .30-30 go for $100 - $400.
The Mauser is very hard to gauge pricing on as sporterizing is not genreally as acceptable as it once was.
The Winchester model 12 could be worth anywhere from a couple hundred to a couple thousand, depending upon which variation it is.
Haven't seen any 140s lately but they're probably somewhere between $100-$300.
As I said, regional pricing varies greatly, hopefully someone else will chime in with more local pricing.

Just some notes to add with fal308's post.

The Glenfield Model 60 is similar to the Marlin Model 99C. The J.C. Higgins Model 103.13 is similar to the Marlin Model 81. I agree they each fall into the $50-$100 range.

The Stevens Model 325A, made from 1947-1950, is similar to the Savage Model 340. In excellent condition it might be worth $250-$350.

Barn Dog, you list the Remington Model 760 chambered in .30-30 caliber. To the best of my knowledge the Model 760 was only chambered in rimless calibers(i.e. .270 Win., .243 Win, .30-06, .308 Win., etc.). I'm just curious if someone actually had it rechambered to .30-30 Win.?

The 'New Model' Ruger Blackhawk Convertible in excellent condition might bring $300-$400.

Hope this helps!

I personally would like the Remington 788 in 243. It is an under appreciated ugly duckling that shots great. A friend of mine had one and he took a lot of kidding about it's plain looks and short barrel. They sold much cheaper than model 700s. They were ahead of their time, but never did bring a large price. It would make a great truck gun.
