Rifle that is not made but you think they should?

Deja vu

I am wondering if any of you are like me and have a desire for a gun that does not exist? If so what is it?

For me its a Semiautomatic 357 magnum carbine with a 16 inch barrel. I feel it would make a great long gun to match my Coonan. I have a lever action to go with my S&Ws.

A Beretta Storm Carbine in 30 carbine. I have one in 9mm and I know it would increase the grip size but I like the fit of the gun.
OK now for the crazy.
AR in 44 special. I have so many guns that shoot 44’s I would like an AR in that caliber.
A lever action in 44 special, not just 44 magnum. I hear all the “you can shoot 44 specials in 44 Mag lever guns” Yea but show me one that doesn’t jam from time to time. I have 2 and both have jammed so bad that the gun had to be dissembled.
M1 Grand in 223. Not rebarreled, not a Mini 14. I would like a Grand that works exactly like a grand but scaled down and using an end block with 223.

I like this question

More pistol caliber carbines ...... specifically those that would be a "updated" style version similar of the old Marlin camp carbines and was nothing that looked anything tacticool like a keltec or hipoint carbine.
Just a nice little carbine with a synthetic stock and that took readily available hicap magazines.

I would like to see more levergun offerings from the other gun companies that aren't making them, like Weatherby, Remington, Ruger, etc. Seems strange that leverguns are popular but only a few companies are making them

Subcompact bolt action that- at *max*, would accept .223. I'd chamber it in one of the PDW rounds. Brown precision kevlar 'pounder' stock. Light glass. Light contour barrel, 16" at max. No recoil pad. A bit more drop at the heel to make it a bit more lively handling. 3 round magazine- the whole focus would be on pushing the weight down as far as possible, with just enough oomph to shoot your average whitetail, but below 5 lbs loaded.

Why? I can't tell you. Maybe also chamber one in 10mm for hunting hogs.

Ruger 77/32 - .327 Federal
The 77/44 or 77/22H action, a new rotary magazine design, and opening the 77/22 Hornet's breech block (bolt) face by 0.025" are all that's needed.

Marlin 1894 - .327 Federal
They've already done all the work for the .32 H&R version. Just mill a little more metal off the cartridge elevator, and it should run .327 Federal.

Winchester 1890/1906/62/62A clone - .22 S/L/LR - From a real manufacturer. The now-discontinued Rossi/Taurus versions were trash, and the other models on the market don't exactly get me excited, either.

Nice, field grade Winchester lever actions by the original maker. Decent bluing and presentable, straight grain walnut is all I'm asking for here. I'd be tickled to death to see the basic post 64 Model 94, followed by the 92 and 86.

* A stainless steel Marlin 39a lever-action offered in .22LR and .22 Magnum.

* A bolt-action Ruger 77/22-RSI Mannlicher-stocked offering.

* A SxS 20ga Stevens 311 with fully rifled bbls and rifle sights.

Well....Since we finally landed on Mars...I want one of those Bee Bee guns Ray Bradbury wrote about in The Martian Chronicals!

.30 calcarbine

I like the idea mentioned earlier in this thread, A Bretta CX4 STORM Carbine in .30 cal Carbine, and keep the size and designe the same. It would be great and practical as well as a hard hitting defensive farm/ranch carbine. Easy to shoot, easy handling and compact. A great combination of size, weight, good handling chariteristics, and short range hitting power with hollow point or soft point ammo. Great IDEA
