Come find out at the 1st annual Cook or rifleman Rifle Shoot to benefit the
Stanly County Junior Gun Safety and Marksmanship Program.
Rifle Shoot sponsored by the Stanly County Sheriff’s Office.
The shoot will be held on Saturday, April 9 starting at 10:00 am
at Efird’s rifle range, 20776 St.Martin Rd Albemarle 28009.
Entry fee will be $15.00 per shooter and the competition will consist of 50 rounds at a military style qualification target of varying size at 25 meters. Shooting positions will be standing, kneeling and prone. Only magazine feed rifles from .223 caliber to 30 caliber will be allowed to compete.
Example (any AR-15 type rifle, M1A, M14, any AK series, ect )
Bring at least 2 magazines as there is a magazine change during the shoot.
We will allow a maximum of 200 shooters; anyone is allowed to enter. Police depts and expert shooters are welcome, First time shooters are encouraged to enter.
A basic shooters class will be held on the day of the shoot starting at
9:00 am for those who need some brushing up on their skills.
Prizes will be $125.00 for 1st place, $75.00 for 2nd, $50.00 for 3rd.
Entry fees will be collected the day of the event.
