I'm looking for a rifle range with a 200 or better yet 300 yard range. I live in the Wilkes-Barre Area and would be will to drive up to an hour and half. Thanks for the help.

Hamburg Rifle and Pistol Club/Shartlesville Fish an Game Associaton. Just off exit 8 on I 78 next to the game lands. It has a covered firing line, target stands and steel targets out to 300 yds.. Also has a dedicated pistol range and a "pit" area for fun shooting. (pretty much anythng goes in the pit, including legal full auto) Contact me if you are interested. I live about 5 minutes away.

New Holland gun club is about 4 hours from Wilkes-Barre. The club is great but the membership waiting list is over a year long.

There's a place just off the Turnpike at Quakertown called Twin-S. It has sporting clays, 50 yard pistol range, and 100 thru 500 yard rifle ranges. It's probably slightly over an hour's drive from Wilkes-Barre if my memory of years on the TP is still correct. FWIW, it's $100/yr to join, and there's no waiting list.

Sun Tao, I doubt you could spend 4 hours from Wilkes-Barre to New Holland, but maybe it would take a couple hours to get there. :)

Factoryville Sportsmans Club, just north of Clarks Summit, Pa. Our lower rifle range is 100 and 200 yards, with covered fireing points, very solid concrete and wood benches. Our upper range goes out to 417 yards, no shed just a bench. We have two pistol pits 50 and 35 yards with covered fireing points. We offer Trap, Sporting Clays, 5 Stand S.C., IPSC/USPSA, IDPA, NRA Action Pistol, NRA Pistol Silouette, .22rf Rifle Silouette, 3-D Archery, and I'm sure I forgot something. We have a large clubhouse, with beer on tap for when you are done shooting.
Dues are 100.00 per year, 35.00 initiation fee. Life memberships are 1000.00. E-mail me at: grc0702@nep.net. Memberships are availible now, you just need the money and 1 member to sign for you.

Let me know if you want to come check the place out. I can take you as a guest.

I've heard of Factoryville, I'm even in their 25 gun raffle this year. :) This is a lot closer to Wilkes-Barre, sounds like a good choice.

No disrepect Keystone but, what was the point of that post? You didn't add anything. Just curious...
