I'm in the process of getting my LTC right now, but I'm a bit confused on the laws as they pertain to rifles in Massachusetts. I know about the approved weapons roster, but I can't seem to find any rifles on it. For example, I can't see any Henry guns on there, but my usual shooting range sells a couple, so I assume they're legal.
Essentially, is the only rifle law the 'assault weapon ban,' or is there an approved roster like for handguns that I just can't find? Or should I just assume that if a reputable fun dealer is selling it, that it's legal. (Or if not, are the consequences on them or me?)
