Rifle ID, pls

I just saw a movie on Netflix called Wind River. What the heck was that rifle that the game warden had? Big caliber, massive barrel lever action. Bad ass!

Looked like one of those Marlin Guide Guns. 444 or 45-70 if I recall properly

Its a Marlin. Not sure of the caliber, .4-something.

Marlin 1895 SBL 45-70. You can see him reloading for it and the bullets are 500 grainers.

They do in mine if I use Hornady LeverEvolution brass. It is trimmed to a shorter length.

"...500 grainers won't cycle through a Marlin 1895..." Anything can be done in a movie. You don't have to reload in movies either.
How can you tell the bullet weight by just seeing it in a movie? Still likely a .45-70 as .444 Marlin blanks or DP cartridges would have to be made. .45-70 has been used in movies since before D.W. Griffith.
