Richland Arms

I have recently acquired a Richland Arms 1859 replica kit. It has sat in a drawer for 20+years and has a lot of surface rust and one badly rusted nipple. I am unable to disassemble it at this time because of the rust. I am unable to find any information on this company. I want a spare cylinder for it and don't know if there are any available or if a cylinder from another manufacturer will work. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Richland was just an importer, the revolver would have been made by one of the Italian makers. Even if you found a cylinder, the timing of the revolver may not be right with the new cylinder, which would require some serious gunsmithing. You could probably get a new revolver cheaper.
