Richards Microfit Gunstocks. Anyone have expereince with them?

I have purchased a couple of the laminated semi-inletted stocks from Richard's, and they have turned out very well. They were only about 80-85% inletted, but I would rather remove more wood than add epoxy as a filler for any gaps. Both of my stocks were special orders and were delivered weeks before the expected shipping date. My next stock will come from them.

not a bad deal

Have re-stocked two Mausers and they delivered what they said, I would not hesitate to use them for my next build. They do require you to do the final in-letting, but it is not tough to do. Should this be your first, don't hesitate to ask for some help!

I've used two. Sound wood, nice classic stock shape, most of the work is done but enough wood left to make a proper fit, end product looked excellant.

I purchased two stocks from them, when I received the stocks and compared their promises to what I received I called them and told them I could train wood peckers to inlet a stock better than the stocks I received.

The company could have changed owners, I do not know.

I emailed them asking if they were still open for business. Received a reply a couple days later saying that they were indeed still in busniess, and said the lead time on the stock I asked about (Tikka t3) would be about 8-10 weeks).

I think the problem was they forgot to pay the phone bill. I called for a couple days before it was back up. I incorrectly assumed they had gone under.
