Revolving topics!

Met a fellow shooter in the next stall shooting a Model 10 Light barrel.
We both noticed the differences in our 4"ers. Mine, a HB and his a thin barrel, and started talking.
Both love the Model 10 and are trying to shoot D/A more.
He said he'd bought his Model 10 in the Navy, I mentioned my Navy Service and we named our ship's
We BOTH served on the great old Carrier Ticonderoga though 10 years apart!!!
What a neat day to find not only a new shooting buddy but also a fellow serviceman with a similar history!
There's more revolving than just revolvers eh?

ZVP - so in theory . . . your Model 10s should be 10 years apart in DOB as well?

Sounds like you both hit it off and like the same thing and even better, have similar Navy experience. Nothing like a Model 10 (or pre-10 M & P). Nice to meet others at the range who have similar interests - I'm sure you two will cross paths again! Have fun and enjoy!
