Revolver Refinish Using Aluma Hyde Question

Hey Y'all.

I am planning on refinishing a badly worn Rossi revolver using Aluma Hyde II. What I would like to know is, what is the consensus on dis-assembly? Should I break it all the way down and mask the interior surfaces, or should I only remove the cylinder/yoke assembly and spray over the side-plate screws?

I am concerned that if I leave the side-plate on, the paint will make the removal of the side-plate difficult down the road, as well as look bad.

What think you? Experiences?

Thanks.
