It would be nice if we had a bit more information about the knife pictured. I know Powell makes a Pistol Bowie knife that can fire up to 38special if I remember right. Im curious because this has a cylinder with more shots and most are just break open single shot designs.

I saw them at the Vegas SHOT Show about three years ago, looked pretty well made, offered by a Vegas outfit, don't recall the name. They were promoting it in either regular knife/gun format as shown or M16 bayonet/gun.

hmm

Well the way the wheel sits in the grip it would appear the bullet would have to come out somewhere up front no? And as far as recoil goes thoes look like 22 or 25 rounds so it wouldn't be much if any.

Yes, it is an AOW

These are classified as AOW, ans thus carry a $5 tax stamp. They are a neat novelty item, but I see no practical use. Many of these require you to pull some lever or something in order to reveal the trigger for the revolver, meaning it would take too long to use in any sort of personal defense situation, not to mention its only .22lr. IHMO they cost too much for what you're getting.

I think they have a practical use that has been overlooked. Boar hunting. For those who like to Boar hunt with a blade, while dangerous, it is quite an earned trophey hunt. The dogs pin the head then you grab the back legs, and usually stab behind the shoulder a few times. A stab and then a shot fired would still be sporting and a good application for the AOW. I just don't think I can justify a $799 price tag. $350 is about all I can see myself paying for it.

How about this one

Made by RJ. Braverman. This is same guy that produced the Braverman pen pistol which was also sold by Stinger and Colt.
