Among the many virtues of the Single Action revolver is the way it takes to nice looking grips. Here is my Ruger "Super" Blackhawk (ex- Bisley) in .45 Colt, with elk stag from Eagle grips:

Another .45 Colt "Super" Blackhawk in .45 Colt, with ebony from Lett Grips:

My very old .357 Magnum Flat Top Ruger with mesquite grips from Cary Chapman:

Another .45 Colt Ruger, with walnut, also from Lett:

Well, you see what I mean.

All color case hardening was by Doug Turnbull. I had sent the guns to Dave Clements or Bob mason for other work, and they forwarded the gun to Turnbull.

I was wondering as it is more muted than a lot of his work, though all excellent, and I like that about yours.

Bob,
Nothing like a great set of grips. Very nice guns. I especially like the .357 Flat Top. Thanks for the photos.
