Among the many virtues of the Single Action revolver is the way it takes to nice looking grips. Here is my Ruger "Super" Blackhawk (ex- Bisley) in .45 Colt, with elk stag from Eagle grips:
Another .45 Colt "Super" Blackhawk in .45 Colt, with ebony from Lett Grips:
My very old .357 Magnum Flat Top Ruger with mesquite grips from Cary Chapman:
Another .45 Colt Ruger, with walnut, also from Lett:
Vermillion wood (paduak) on a .44 Magnum Super Blackhawk:
Well, you see what I mean.
