I have an older H&R 22 lr DA revolver that seems fine except that on two of the cylinder positions, the trigger will not advance and thus the cylinder does not turn. It seems to be a jam of some sort between the pawl hand the the teeth on the cylinder. The pawl hand does not appear to be worn at all-- very pointed. The gear teeth on the cylinder seem to be uniform for the most part.
The fit up of the cylinder with the barrel is good. When loaded and being fired, the "hang up" is most pronounced. When unloaded, it is present but not as pronounced. Manually cocking the hammer does not change anything.
Any advise as to what to look for is appreciated.
