And just exactly what tyranny is it to which Rev. Jesse refers?

The tyranny of a court ignoring the law written by the legislature? No.

How about the tyranny of a court writing law from the bench? Probably not.

Maybe it is the tyranny of a small group of well-connected attorneys being able to shut down a 200+ year old process of selecting a president? Heavens no!

How 'bout the tyranny of a state supreme court ignoring the clear instructions of the US supreme court? Naw!

Maybe it is about the tyranny of that same group of lawyers ability to destroy an industry (tobacco), dismember another company because it was too successful (Microsoft), or harass and intimidate another industry to effect public policy that the legislature refused to implement (gun manufacturers).

No, I don't think any of these tryannies are the subject of the Rev's tirade. Actually he refers to the tyranny of a race-baiter's ability to get top billing from a pathetic media that can not bring itself to condemn the man for what he is. . . . a race-baiter and promoter of racial hatred.
 
Jackson's tirade is based on lies.

Every vote was counted at least twice.

And the only court that exercised tyranny was the FL Supremem court, when they decided in favor of Gore's recounts, changing the rules after the election was decided.

The US Supreme court has (so far) just asked them to justifyt their decision on the basis of the law. Which they have not done.

If Brother Jackson (or Rev. Al Sharpton) spent more time trying to harmonize the various races rather than incite them or mend wounds rather than infect them, society would be much better. It would do him well to learn from Martin Luther King.
 
Dr King wouldn't associate with these people.

Like an old song says, "everybody going round claiming they read this and dat." All of these "leaders" have never bothered to read anything written by Dr King. Never, not once, did Dr King call for blaming your faults on others. Never did he call for living off the dole, for people to go around creating schisms, and for people to make themselves rich off real suffering. Mr Jackson and Mr Sharpton are independently wealthy, thay charge thousands for appearances. It's embarassing to see the Dems use them for photo ops. I wonder what Condoleeza Rice thinks about them.
 
From what I've heard around DC and the 'burbs, the Reverend "Rent-A-Riot" Jackson is losing credibility with his former supporters.

The colors of a rainbow are violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red. No white and no black either. How odd.
Makes you wonder about Rev. Jesse Jackson DS.
 
He's one of the main reasons Pennsylvania was won by Gore. Him and former mayor, Ed Rendell were rallying all over Philly. All the sheep that live there believed their lies.

It's funny how the voting numbers vs registered voters vs black adults in Philly do not add up. Yet nobody raises an eyebrow.
 
Read "Hating Whitey and Other Progressive Causes" by David Horowitz. He was a Sixties radical who became a conservative. The event that started his conversion was the murder of a friend by the Black Panthers. His book outlines the truely unholy alliance of marxist academic radicals, criminals, and the mass media. None of these groups have a positive agenda to put forward. They are interested only in tearing down this beautiful country.
