Retail price of RIA tactical. 45cap.

So, I'm in the market for a. 45cap pistol. My mind is set on either a RIA Tactical or a Glock 30SF. I was at my local fun store this weekend and saw a RIA Tactical for 599. Is this average price or should I look elsewhere?

That includes shipping to your FFL. The FFL will normally charge a transfer fee and the amount varies widely. Buds is not always the cheapest but the are usually competitive so I use them as a quick reference (and they are local to me).

I have one. It runs perfectly. I paid $500, and that's about right. I would never begrudge a good LGS from making an extra 5-10% off me though.

I wouldn't say it's a good or bad gun shop. Just what's close. Only a couple other small shops close by. I think I should shop around and see if I can do it for less.

I'd keep looking... I've seen them in several places for ~$450. JM2C.

My LGS sells them for $479. I have both the 9MM & the .45. Truly fantastic firearms.

Thats a bit high, but you are in Illinois. I imagine that LGS are few and far between in your state.

I got mine from grabagun.com for 429. I'd recommend checking out slickguns.com It's basically just a site that shows good deals/sales across the web on guns, ammo, knives etc. That's where I found the deal on mine. I've since seen them go for even less after rebates.

EXCELLENT gun by the way. My only minor complaint is that they come heavily coated in oil. Not really a bad thing really. Just plan on a good long cleaning before your first outing.
