I recently ordered a cheap scope to put on an old rifle. I have misplaced the paperwork that came with it, but there was a warning that the scope was on some kind of list with the homeland security. Apparently it is thought of as some kind of sniper scope. Anybody else see this when ordering something?

I think scope sights are among the items for which an export license is required. AFAIK, PA is not a foreign country, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah. Scopes, mags, just about any gun related enhancement runs into ITAR.
Gotta go thru the State Dept to export it
