Resident Alient Ownership Help

Got a quick question for everyone here. Ok, I was just on "delayed" response for the NICS check. I have a green card, but recently just moved to a new state. I have a new drivers license and also a permit to purchase (which they run the same background check anyways) and also have the conceiled carry permit.

So anyhow, I go to purchase a firearm today. I get the delayed thing. There is something that says I need to show 90 days of living in the state of purchase. I just moved here form another state. So does this mean I am in limbo for 90 days, or just provide bills that I was not out of the country basiccally.

Some dealers I have read just ask for your previous license as well, and that is fine for them. other dealers want more info. Just curious if bank statements are enough ?

As far as I know it is illegal now to have two general DLs since around '85 or so when they nationalized the DL banks.

Possible that the delay has to do with the fact that the ATF computers have not caught up with your DL yet

Yes, for the first 90 days in your new state, you are in limbo and cannot purchase a firearm. You must show proof of your 90 days by displaying something like a utility bill or lease agreement in your name.

You have to be a resident of your home state for more than 90 days...this requirement is the same whether you're a citizen or a permanent resident. How long have you been living in your new home state?
