Require help finding a holster

I just purchased a new S&W M&P9c and am looking for a new paddle holster. I have been visiting manufactures sites but am not comfortable purchasing one that I haven't tried. Can anyone make a recommendation ? Leather or Kydex.

Thanks
Bob

As far as trying a holster out, what works for me might not work for you. Find one you like and give it a try.

Yep, it's kinda like asking a bunch of folks behind keyboards what jeans would fit you best.

That being said, I'd add Comp-Tac to the list. They make a nice paddle holster.

Thanks guys but I have looked at most of those sights and they sure do have a variety of good qualityproduct but I was hoping someone who has the same gun has tried and would recommend or not and why.

I own an M&P9c (and a 40c) and without a doubt the best paddle holster for it is Comp-Tac's. Their customer service is first rate as well. If for some reason you hate it you can always send it back for a full refund minus shipping. If you go looking for IWB later then I suggest Custom Carry Concepts.

I recently ended up with a Fobus paddle holster for my Kimber. It's a very affordable paddle holster that carries nice and light, and has been very durable thus far. It's only a week old, but I'm pleased with it so far.

I usually prefer the leather option. Don Hume makes pretty good ones.

However, Galco has introduced a Paddle Lite for most brands. It's pretty cheap, and I haven't had anything Galco that I've been disappointed in. I'd suggest those three options.
