Got a call today (Sunday!) from RNC telemarketer wanting to pry more money from me. After politely listening to the "taped speech" she asked me to financially support a fund to get republicans elected. When I said no she reduced the amount she was requesting (they always do).
I simply stated that my money was going to the NRA Political fund.She said something about the NRA had limits on the amount they could directly contribute. I then said that I was pulling all other support and directing my money directly to the campains of the canadates basically bypassing the RNC, etc. She actually stumbled and didn't have anything else to say!
It gets easier to say no each time they call.
It's funny how I get letters from Republicans who supported the gunshow legislation on the first reading and now they reply to mu letters with how much they support my RKBA.
