I have used you airline in the past but needless to say it WON'T be in any of my future travel plans!!

I received this from a friend of mine and just thought I wouldpass it along. Guess
you can file this under the "FYI" subjects. At anyrate, here you go. Read it and draw your own conclusions.
W.A. (Bill) Green; USPSA, IDPA, NRA

"In 1997, my son, an Army Ranger who had served hiscountry for more than 6 six years was DENIED a bereavement fare to attend the funeral of a close family member. Then Northwest does this:
Northwest Airlines(NWA) provided Sen. Dianne
Feinstein, D-Calif, with 200
cut-rate flights for her constituents to attend the anti-second Amendment Million Mom March. Fares were available on a three day notice price of $250 RT. A regular three day notice price is $2,300 RT.This represents a
$400,000 subsidy by Northwest to the anti-second Amendment movement.
Feinstein's husband Richard C. Blum is a member of NWA's board of directors. So allowing cut-rate transportation for liberals to the Democrat-driven anti-gun function was actually just an all-in-the-family deal. In 1996, NWA gave $221,400 in soft money contributions to theDemocratic Party and
Clinton-Gore reelection campaign.
You and your airline are DESPICABLE! You can allo a TWO THOUSAND DOLLAR DISCOUNT TO FOUR HUNDRED PEOPLE TO ATTEND A POLITICAL RALLY YET YOU DENY A BEREAVEMENT FARE TO A SOLDIER TRYING TO GET HOME TO A FUNERAL!! NO MEMBER OF MY FAMILY WILL EVER FLY NORTHWEST AGAIN! I WILL DO ALL IN MY POWER TO ENSURE THAT EVERYONE I KNOW OR MEET HEARS THIS STORY AND
WHY WE ARE BOYCOTTING NORTHWEST. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES.
PS: The "Flight Date" is erroneous. There was_NO flight date because your crummy airline would_not grant a bereavement fare to a soldier. But there was a flight date for the rally I guess. And a cheap flight for those who wanted to attend. What an airline. Screw the soldier who gives his all every day to maintain the freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution, and reward the political hacks who work to destroy thefreedoms our soldiers
have fought and died to preserve."

You are lucky. I have been dealing with MWA for a refund for over a year now and I have not received a substantive response yet.

Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams
