replacement stock?

22-250

Hi all I’m a newbe here and need a replacement stock for a Browning rifle I have. The original stock was salt cured I’m told and I have constant rust problems  . The rifle has only a few markings, on one side it has Browning Arms Company and on the other it has Z69 the caliber 22-250 and Made in Finland. If not a replacement stock than a way to treat the oriental to keep it from rusting with out damaging it or hurt its accuracy. Thanks for any help or info you can provide.

At one time Browning was pretty good about replacing salt wood stocks and refinishing the steel as much as possible. Contact them.

A look at their website give a contact for wood for the rifles built on Sako (Finnish) actions:

Thank you, I have looked at there site before and found nothing  but if you ask my wife she will tell you I’m blind and have ADD ;) . I will have to call again tomorrow they were closed :( .

Ok so I talked to Browning and Bob’s and unless I would like to spend big bucks to have a custom stock made I need to either live with it or treat the inside of stock to keep the rust down. My only concerns doing more damage or effecting accuracy of the rifle, it may be old but at 100yards I can cover five shots with a dime. Does anyone have any suggestions of a fix?
