Replacement Rifle Stock

I have a Marlin 80DL .22 bolt action that used to be my grandfathers. The stock is warped yet it is still quite accurate--he mounted Williams peep sight on it. How can I get a replacement stock for it?

My daughter wants to shoot with me and I thought this would be a good starting rifle--magazine fed bolt.

PS I teach for a living so no luxury custom stocks please!

I started out as a kid in 1954 with a Marlin 80C and still have it. I picked up and reconditioned M80s for both of my kids when they were the right age and I think they were good guns for the job. Since Marlin still makes the same basic gun under the M880 designation, contacting them for either original parts or the new version might be worth a try. You might also put an ad in Gun List or Shotgun News. Also, a good woodworker might be able to straighten out your present stock by steaming, epoxy, or some similar methods. They are good guns, so stay with it.
