Replacement Nipple For US Model 1861

I recently purchased a U.S. Model 1861 Musket which was manufactured under contract by Mowry. Unfortunately, the nipple is broken and needs to be replaced.

Can anyone tell me if a Springfield nipple will fit the Mowry Musket?
