rental range

Does anyone know of an open range that has pistol rentals within driving range of Central New York? I live in Syracuse and I'd like to actually try out some pistols before I buy my next one. I bought and almost immediately sold 2 guns last year that were good weapons but just weren't for me. The range I regularly go to does not offer rentals but that option had been offered to me by fellow members here.

Eric,

I'm about 40 miles south of you and I know of ZERO public ranges anywhere nearby. I don't know if any of the member-only ranges rent guns or not, obviously wouldn't matter anyway unless you wanna shell out the $90+ annual memberships.


BTW, do you happen to know of any indoor ranges? There is only one in Binghamton, or anywhere else within 100 miles that I've found.

I go to the Syracuse Pistol Club in Liverpool. It's an excellent indoor/outdoor range. $85.00/yr. and unlimited use. You can bring 2 guests with you also.
