removing the stock

I have a saiga 12 gauge semi auto, and i am trying to get the stock off for dimensioning, so that i can make a custom stock for it. I removed the screws, so it should come off, but the darned thing just wont budge, and i dont want to bend anything. Any suggestions?

I am not familiar with the Saiga shotguns, but most every auto (2 piece stock) I have found uses a stock bolt that is accesed from under the recoil pad/ butt plate. Remington for example uses a screwdriver slot end of the bolt, Beretta uses a nut and washer on a threaded bolt. If you have removed the bolt or nut sometimes a small rap or wiggling on the side with your hand will loosen the stock from the receiver. Do this gently so as not to chip the stock on the receiver.
