Removing Stock on Savage 340?

I inherited an older Savage 340 (bolt action 30-30). I want to remove the stock to refinish it. I do not see any obvious screws which will release the stock. The only screws I see look like they hold the trigger assembly or action in the stock.

Does anybody have experience disassembling this rifle? Is it easy to do?

Any help will be appreciated.

Those are the ones-the front triggerguard screw goes into the action recoil lug. Up front on the foreend is the barrelband screw. Just start unscrewing stuff-it is really easy.
