Removing sight, sav 24v-a

Anyone know how to remove the rear sight on this savage 24v-a? I removed the screw but it won't budge. It's a 222/20 gauge. I would like to mount a scope.

Drift the sight out and there should be another screw under it.

Thanks. I can't get the sight to move. I tapped on it but won't budge.
