Well the Good Lord blessed me with short stocky arms. Love the rifle but the stock is uncomfortably long. The rem youth stocks are perfect but have yet to see one thats comparable to the hogue overmold.

What are my options?

Are you looking exclusively for a synthetic stock? If so, Ebay is probably your best bet for a youth, but a factory take-off youth stock is probably going to have a sporter weight barrel channel that will have to be widened out for your AAC-SD barrel.

If you can consider a laminate hardwood stock, Boyd's stocks can be ordered with a LOP as short as 12.75". It will be a little heavier than a synthetic, but they look a lot better IMO.

Lots of aftermarket stocks are available with custom length of pulls. From Boyds to McMillians with allow you to pick different LOP... You have to figure out what your measurement is and you should be set to go.

Well you are just limited by how much money you want to spend... Look up your rifle on stockys and call them. Tell them you need a custom LOP of 12.5 and they will set you up. Easy peezy...

Ahhhh. Now i understand. You are looking to replace the Houge.

I just got a Boyds for my 700aac in 300blk. Its getting bedded and a detachable mag. Im hoping it turns out to be a real shooter

I agree the Overmolded stock is a POS
