D dgludwig New member Aug 1, 2005 #2 For sure, yes. I'm not for sure but I believe the Model 58 was Remington's first successful gas-operated shotgun. And I'm also thinking that it had honest (not impressed :barf checkering on it. Good deal, for certain in the condition described.
