Remmington EtronX Question

My profession is electrical validation in the automotive world, specifically EMC (Electromagnetic Compatiblity).
Testing against EMP and general Radio Frequency (RF) threats including ESD ElectroStatic Discharge.
I wish to make a request for some testing and validation information from Remmington and or Picitinny Arsenal - Remmington's the validation lab, reguarding the new EtronX firing unit and ammunition.
I have been unable to locate an e-mail address for either facility, can anyone assist me?

Remington has a website; you might check there.

I'd suggest writing a snail-mail letter, also--on letterhead, preferably. You might call them for a specific name and address; this would save time for you and for them.

Regards,

markwiz. You're not alone in your thinking. I see the Etronix as a good way to have a club if there happened to be an EMP blast nearby. Frankly, I'm surprised the gov't hasn't pushed for this kind of thing ten years ago. If a large amount of the population had electronicly controlled weapons, it would be easy to take them out of the fight. It's coming.

All my firearms are EMP-proof. ;)

Art,
Thanx for the sugjestion, I wanted to try this method first.

Steve,
Yes, mine too. But what about our great grandchildrens children?

I doubt I need the ultra-fast lock time to defend myself. Anyways, I have been looking into this rifle although it has the DREADED 1:14 twist so anything over 55 grains, flat based, is out of the question.

My dream rifle is a CONTROLLED feed (M98, thank you) 22-250 with a 26" fluted bull, chrome plated bore and a 1:8 twist. With it, I can launch 80 gr VLD's at 3200 ft/second. This is my idea of a long range rifle that I can carry with a day's worth of ammo. Too bad Remington doesn't have custom. Oh yes, EMP shielding IS possible:p. Its called Mu metal and I would gladly accept the additional weight.

Mu metal is ok but I guess I'll just wrap my rifle in aluminum foil! We'll have to resort to "Tempest" methods of firearm protection.
