While scowering these forums every chance i get to learn more about reloading, i notice the word " remlin " being used but haven't saw any sort of definition. I'm assuming it means a marlin and remington combined...? Anyway, what's up with this remlin stuff?

Not certain, don't use the term myself, but I think it refers to Marlins, built after Remington took over ownership of the company.

Generally, it's a Marlin produced by Remington in the Remington plant after the old Marlin company was bought & operations moved to Ilion, New York.

The quality of Marlin guns was going downhill before the company was bought by Remington. The quality of NEF guns made in the latter years of Marlins watch was dismal.
