Old ,old story. Been beaten to death on all forums for months. Was also discussed back in the 70's when the problem first made the headlines in all the gunshops and magazines. Several TV programs discussed the problems back in the 90's as well before we had the internet. Nothing that hasn't been known for at least 40 years.
 
Check to see if the Remington website still has their company response to this CNBC report. Some of the comments Remington made in response were interesting. One of them is the SWAT rifle in the story was never returned to or inspected by Remington. Remington suspects the factory seal was broken on the trigger, and the trigger was adjusted by an unqualified person.
 
baddarryl - as already mentioned, that is old news. You're welcome to find some of the old threads to comment in if you wish, but no need for a new one.
