Pics and/or a better description would help, as Remington made several diferent SxS shotguns from the 1880's through 1940.
Many identifying marks can be found on either/both the actions watertable flat(s), and the flats & barrel undersides.
Does it have external hammers, or is it hammerless ?
Does it have engraving of any kind on the action, or is it plain ?
Does it have a prominent/recessed hinge pin that looks like a protruding belly button ?
Is the outside of the buttplate marked with a logo ?
