Remington Stock Choices

I just ordered a replacement youth stock for my 870 synthetic. I was wondering if the remington syntetic material is as good as speedfeed, knox, choate, etc. I considered getting the adjustable pistol grip stock but I want to be able to switch this gun from a defense role to a sporting role. Also, I noticed that some of the pistol grip stocks interfere with the operation of the 870 safety. The only thing I don't like about the synthetic stock that came with my shotgun was that it could not be shortened due to the hollow nature of the stock. I am hoping to sell the factory original and the new synthetic forarm for what I paid for my youth set. rc

I replaced the stock synthetic stock with a 12" LOP Hogue. Love it!
