Remington SPS to BDL conversion

Is it possible? I ordered the parts an tried to put it all together but the mag follower pops up an blocks the bolt. The SPS had a detactable box mag,I wanted a new stock for it and coundnt find an SPS stock that takes a detactable mag so I bought a BDL stock an ordered the parts from Remington to convert it.
 
It is possible, however you are the first person I know of intentionally going that route. But I can't really help you without more information.

Does the mag follower "pop out" only after the last round is ejected, or does it do it whenever the bolt is cycled?

Did you include a magazine spacer in your build? List all the parts you used, by model number if possible or a URL to the product.

It pops up all the time an wont hold the rounds in the mag. Dont have the part #s but I got a new trigger guard, mag box, spring and follower. Whats a mag spacer?
I got a new H&S stock that I would have to cut to make fit the original trigger guard an detactable mag. I was just hoping not to have to do that but if thats what it takes Ill break out the dremel.
