remington pump action rifle

Got a Remongton Model Six in .30-06 and get moa no problem with 165 factory loads. The barrel is free floated by design. The lock-up may not be as great as a bolt bu that totally freefloated barrel is a good start to accuracy. Don't know if I'd take one to sniper school but it bags a deer every year in the PA "pump gun" woods.

I've shot a friend's 760 in .308 & I've one in .30-06 - both were very accurate = sub-MOA.

Very underrated rifles, methinks. Very fast for follow-up shots, accurate, can get 10 rounds mags, come in "real" rifle calibers - hmmm, almost like a PC assault rifle.

Only thing I don't care for is the slide can make some noise when trying to be stealthy.

By all accounts, I think they're better all-round than are Rems semi-autos.
