While playing around with my percussion revolvers today I was surprised at the difference in size of the cylinders of my Uberti Navies, one a Remington 1858 and one a Colt London 1851. The Remington Navy has a considerably larger cylinder The measurements in inches are as follows:

Rem. cyl. O.L. 2.001
Colt cyl. O.L. 1.705

Rem. cyl. bore .371
Colt cyl. bore .372

Rem. cyl. bore depth 1.354
Colt cyl. bore depth 1.165

Rem. cyl. width 1.604
Colt cyl width 1.534

Colt cyl. wall thickness @ edge .081
Rem. cyl. wall thickness @ edge .120

In the wall thickness @ edge measurements I measured four of my revolvers (all Uberti) just for the heck of it.

Colt Walker .094
Colt Army full fluted ..078
Colt Navy .081
Rem. Navy .120

The Uberti Remington Navy should hold a considerable amount more powder although the Colt Navy should hold plenty.

It appears to me that Uberti used the same frame for both their .44 Rem and their .36 Rem.... so the .36 cylinder has the same outer dimensions as the .44 cylinder.
