Remington Model 700 Target Tactical: Free Floated and Bedded or not?

I was wondering if anyone owns one of these? I know it has the VTR shaped barrel with the 5R rifling, and I know the VTR rifle does NOT have a floated barrel and is NOT pillar beddded.

I was wondering with this model if they have included a pillar bedding and a free-floated barrel?

With internet prices in the mid-$1600 range, I would hope so, but wasn't sure.

Yes they are aluminum pillar bedded and free floated.

I one time wrote Remington an e-mail with the generic address you get off their website about the diameter of a barrel and quickly got back (I think next day) a response from an actual person who wrote out an actual answer. It wasn't some pre-written generic answer.

You could try asking them, their customer service (in my experience) is no where near as bad as people make it out to be!
