Went and picked up the barreled action today, and with the original sight (!!!! He found it!!!!) And it looks very good. Some pits are still visible. Nothing I didn't expect. The matte stock and blue mate well with the high luster bolt. It truly looks beautiful. I think I did a great job on the stock and bolt. The stock just feels so smooth and the action and lockup run smoother now with the work I did on the bolt. I can't wait to get some groups with it. It's incredibly accurate. I know it's not the highest quality picture, but it's the best I could do with how happy/excited and how low my battery was. Thanks to all you folks for sticking with me and following this project. Lord knows I've enjoyed it. And I am extremely proud of the finished product. Well, I hope you all have enjoyed my posts throughout this project. Thanks again, and God Bless.

Looks good! The bolt is a high luster and looks very good with the gun. If it were my project, I'd probably apply another coats of oil to the stock and maybe a glossy or at least satin varnish to bring that out a little more, but some people like them more matte. Glad you're happy with the smith job and you can call this project done. Take some good pictures for the portfolio
