Remington Model 1100 deal

How did I do picking up a left hand, 12 gauge, Remington Model 1100 with a 30" Trap barrel, and a 26" Skeet barrel, in an aluminum hard side case, for $425.

I shot the Trap barrel, hitting 22 out of 25, which made me throw caution to the wind and sold me on the gun.

As a left hander with a long gun, it just seemed to fit me right.

AS long as the overall condition of the gun is decent, I'd think you did fairly well. The most important thing is that you found a gun that fits you well and that you seem pretty well pleased with.

Enjoy it:)

Yeah, I just bought an 1100 LT-20, I got a good deal as well, but I would've preferred it with a short barrel. May or may not get one given the expense of additional ones, which I am now familiar with. So with two barrels and a nice case, I'd say you did pretty well. It depends on the particular model of 1100, but the going rate for used ones seems to be between $400 and $500 depending on the furniture, bells and whistles, etc. And that's not even with cases or barrels.
